Draft specification for review

Sample applications

Three small, runnable examples that tell the story — a lighting-and-sound cue-sync demo, a telemetry logger, and a worship scheduler — each with a transcribed video.

Markdown version: /developers/samples.md

Status: planned. Each sample runs against the simulator and ships with a six-minute video and transcript.

1. Cue-sync demo — lighting and sound

A Node application listens to sACN/Art-Net, or an OSC cue from QLab or Companion, and maps lighting looks to beam presets: “the beam follows the followspot”, “wash = wide coverage”. The demonstration of what a software-defined loudspeaker is for.

2. Telemetry logger

A Python script streams per-transducer faults and temperature to CSV or Grafana — the monitoring story made tangible for transport and voice-alarm operators.

3. Worship scheduler

A Home Assistant automation recalls “service”, “rehearsal” and “lobby” presets by calendar.
