Sound & Video Contractor has named EDC Acoustics’ Volumetric Wave Field Synthesis (VWFS) a Best of Show winner at InfoComm 2025 in Orlando.
The judges’ note singled out that this was “not a COTS product” but a fully installed system — custom seats with enclosed drivers and a line of overhead sources — that directs every source on-axis to the listener, reducing wasted energy and improving spatial accuracy and intelligibility.
